With „Straight Ways“, he once again demonstrates his perfect approach of combining groove with melodic elements. But the whole thing is so restrained that it almost becomes monotonous. But on closer listening, the complete opposite is the case and the symbiosis of percussion, bass and spherical elements is something that only he can do in this form.
