It’s always something special to be able to present fresh new acts on the label group’s labels alongside well-known artists. Catalogue number 131 on Amber Blue Recordings is no exception and impressively demonstrates how this can be combined.

DNCS celebrates its grandiose debut with ‘Akritas’ and in conjunction with a remix by Kirill Guk, this combination emphasises precisely this philosophy. The original is melodic techno of the freshest kind and impresses with groove and a great bass and kick game that literally drives you onto the dance floor. The remix takes a more restrained approach and impresses with a great break that transitions unexpectedly into the second part of the production, bringing something unexpected with it and rounding off the package perfectly.

All in all, this is a great release that is sure to please fans of modern melodic techno. In the usual Amber manner, there is nothing more to say than welcome DNCS and welcome back, Kirill Guk.
